Do Transparent LED Displays Have High Structural Load Requirements
As Milestrong’s flagship product, many users wonder whether installing a transparent LED display imposes particularly high load-bearing requirements. Our answer is no — transparent displays do not have as high load-bearing demands as traditional LED displays.

Weight Comparison:
For LED displays of the same size, the transparent series weighs about half as much as traditional framed displays. The STJ series of transparent LED displays can even be directly adhered to glass, making them lighter and more aesthetically pleasing.
Cabinet Structure:
For example, a grid‑type transparent LED display allows the frame to be made from different materials, such as steel structure or lightweight aluminum structure. A more suitable cabinet structure can be chosen according to the actual load‑bearing conditions.
Note:
Although transparent LED displays are lightweight and have relatively low load‑bearing requirements, we still recommend conducting a parameter assessment of the building before installation to ensure the transparent display can be installed safely and in compliance with regulations.
