Nowadays, the application of indoor LED small-pitch display screens is becoming increasingly widespread, mostly used in meeting rooms and exhibition halls. To achieve touch writing functions, infrared touch frames can be installed.

Install an outer frame in front of the LED display screen. Inside the frame, a circuit board is designed. Thus, infrared emitting tubes and infrared receiving tubes are arranged around the four sides of the screen, corresponding one by one to form an infrared matrix that crosses horizontally and vertically. After each round of scanning, if all the infrared pairs are accessible and the green light is on, it indicates that everything is normal. When there is a touch, a finger or other object will block the horizontal and vertical infrared rays passing through that position. When the touchscreen scans and detects and confirms that one infrared ray is blocked, the red light will turn on, indicating that there is an infrared ray blocked and there may be a touch. At the same time, it will immediately switch to another coordinate for scanning. If it is found that another infrared ray is also blocked on another axis, the yellow light will turn on, indicating that a touch has been detected. The positions of the two infrared pairs that were found to be blocked were reported to the host. Through calculation, the positions of the touch points on the screen were determined.

Users only need to operate within the sensing area of the touch box with their fingers or a specific pen to interact with the device. Previously, the surface of LED display screens with infrared touch screens was generally covered with glass regardless of their size. For small-pitch screens with lamp beads attached to the surface, the surface of the lamp beads was relatively fragile, and they were prone to fall off when touched by hand or operated with a stylus.

Nowadays, the surface treatment and fit of LED display screens have been improved in terms of the wick spacing and surface treatment. Meanwhile, with the gradual popularization of GOB and COB products, infrared frames can also be directly installed according to the actual situation on site.
